Cloud Based System

AirBourne FTM runs on Angular and Microsoft ASP.NET Core framework which sits on the global Microsoft Azure SQL server cloud platform. This service provides multi-layered security provided by Microsoft across physical data centres, infrastructure and operations in Azure. The user gains from the state-of-art security delivered in Azure data centres globally. The ‘cloud’ is built with customised hardware which has security controls integrated into the hardware and firmware components plus added protections against threats such as DDoS. The user also benefits from a Microsoft team of more than 3,500 global cybersecurity experts that work together to help safeguard the Operator’s data held in Azure.

Our in-service support

Bourne Systems provide continuous customer support via our on-screen help files and videos together with our help desk for more technical issues and free of charge training provided on-line from our offices through shared screens using a live system.

You are never left alone when you need help.

Continuous improvement

Airbourne FTM is continuously being reviewed and developed helped and advised by our customers. It is our commitment to the end users, that continue to challenge us to make Airbourne FTM the best CAMO system in the industry. We focus on the end user experience to 1. Simplify (deskill) the tasks where possible and 2. ‘speed-up’ the processing of each task without compromising safety, quality or airworthiness standards. Many features of Airbourne FTM have been driven by our own vision of how we performed CAMO services but customers have also contributed to changes, Inventory Management, Airworthiness Review and recently, HR Records were all inspired by customer feedback.

Software as a service (SaaS)

Bourne Systems SaaS (subscription service) provides you with a low-cost start (just the monthly subscription fee) and continuation of service with low monthly changes per aircraft. By making our software available by SaaS, CAMO’s, owners and operators can replace their spreadsheets and/or legacy systems for a smarter, easier, more productive solution.

Our Benefits light.png

The primary benefit of using Airbourne FTM is its end user experience; simple, easy to use processing!

The biggest problem our customers had with many other systems is that they needed a Computer Science degree to use them, in fact many of their users today still do not use the full power or capability of the systems employed because they are so difficult to use resorting in users having to use spreadsheets for some activities in preference to using the systems! Bourne Systems have understood this and it’s been the main objective in developing Airbourne FTM to simplify the Aircraft Maintenance Management Software and CAMO tasks.

  • Ease of use: 1 x Planning/Airworthiness Engineer is able to manage up to 5 aircraft in daily operation.
1 Planning/Airworthiness Engineer and 1 x Administrator can manage up to 12 aircraft in daily operation.

  • Smart: 5 fully integrated systems where data is processed once but shared by all 5 systems. We have eliminated dual entry of data and multiscreen processing where possible in all 5 systems.

  • Fast: Airbourne FTM is a live system meaning your data is always up-to-date and reports are generated as and when you request them. We have speeded up processing time by rewriting scripts in Angular, a Google developed language which helps us achieve the maximum speed possible on web platforms today. Large reports which took 30 seconds or more now take 5 seconds or less.

  • Total visibility: No need to search for status information or to assume compliance. An Airworthiness item is managed and constantly visible as an open item in the aircraft’s dashboard from its introduction continuously through to compliance and satisfaction without losing sight of it at any time.

  • Pro-active: Airbourne FTM automatically highlights ‘critical’ issues such as tasks due or nearly due, to ensure appropriate action is taken in a timely manner.

  • Affordable: Airbourne FTM is provided as Software as a Service (SaaS) meaning you can rent it on a monthly basis. No upfront, additional or hidden charges, unlimited number of users, no minimum term - only pay for what you use.
